Funky Buddha: 20 Years of evolution and creativity This year, we’re celebrating 20 years in the fashion industry, looking back with pride, but above all, looking forward with even more inspiration and energy. Together, we continue to evolve and create unique clothing collections that combine style, comfort and authenticity, responding to the modern lifestyle. With a steadfast focus on innovation, sustainability and strategic growth, we are building a brand that constantly evolves with every step, remaining true to our mission: to become a leading omnichannel retailer in the markets where we operate and to establish ourselves as a global fashion brand.
Since 2006, shaping our own fashion journey... We started in 2006 with a passion for fashion and inspiration from contemporary culture. From the very beginning, we focused on creating collections that express authenticity, combining casual elements with contemporary design. In 2013, we took the next big step by launching our men’s collection (Link: https://www.funky-buddha.com/el/andriko.html) in the retail market and opening our first physical stores, strengthening our presence and connection with the public. In 2015, we added the women’s collection (Link: https://www.funky-buddha.com/el/gunaikeio.html) and launched funky-buddha.com (Link: https://www.funky-buddha.com) , making a strong entry into the digital era and strengthening the brand’s online presence. An omnichannel experience we are constantly evolving In 2019, we implemented a comprehensive omnichannel strategy, integrating physical and online channels into a unified experience. During the pandemic, we adapted quickly and invested even more in e-commerce, enhancing our users’ online experience and upgrading it through modern, digital-first practices.
We are committed to a more sustainable future At Funky Buddha, we actively invest in sustainability and responsible growth. In this context, we have published our first Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Report for 2023, marking the beginning of a new era of sustainable transformation. Starting in 2024, we are upgrading our physical stores with eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions, creating more modern and sustainable shopping experiences for you. Breaking new ground internationally In 2025, we continued our international expansion with vigor, opening three new stores in Romania and launching a local e-shop, further strengthening our market presence. At the same time, we expanded into North Macedonia and Georgia with new brick-and-mortar stores. At the same time, we took a significant step outside of Europe by entering South Africa, opening our first store in Cape Town and recently launching the e-shop funky-buddha.co.za.
What does the future hold for Funky Buddha? Today, we are present in 250 distribution points and over 80 retail locations in Greece and abroad, and we continue to grow with the goal of creating fashion experiences that express who you are. With consistency, innovation, and creativity, we continue to build the future of Funky Buddha together, and the journey ahead promises to be even more exciting. |
