Beware of fake websites

We have identified websites that use the Funky Buddha name, logo and photos without permission, trying to mislead consumers with fake offers and discounts.

These websites have no connection whatsoever with Funky Buddha. We have already taken the necessary steps to have them removed. Until this process is complete, we want to help you recognise and avoid them.

How to spot a fake website

1. Check the address (URL) carefully
Words such as "online", "shop" or "gr", or small changes in the spelling of our name, such as "budha" instead of "buddha", are common signs of a scam.
2. Watch out for extreme discounts
Offers such as "-80% on everything" or "today only" are usually a sign that something is not right. Funky Buddha offers are always announced on our official e-shop and our official communication channels.
3. Look for the company details
On our official website you will always find our full company details, including company name, VAT number, address and contact information. If this information is missing, that is a strong sign the website cannot be trusted.
4. Check the payment details
When completing your payment, make sure the merchant shown is Funky Buddha or ALTEX S.A. If a different or unknown company name appears, do not proceed with the transaction.
5. Be careful with ads on social media
Before visiting a website through an ad, make sure the ad comes from the official Funky Buddha accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
